Chapter Three
Trying to open her eyes, but she felt the Sunray perfectly directed at her eyes. She adjusted her body and tried to stand up. Everything seemed blurred to her and she almost lost her balance.
“Where am I?” She questioned herself. She could see a perfectly dug grave in front of her with no coffin inside or name on it like it was been prepared for someone. Still confused, she looked around and saw no one except different graves with names on them. She still couldn’t understand what she was doing there or how she got there. She could remember last night, she and Justin, her boyfriend, were out having fun then.
“Oh, that bastard” she just remembered they had an issue last night but still couldn’t fathom how she got to the cemetery.
“You know you shouldn’t be speaking to him after everything I told you” Justin grabbed her arm making her squirm in pain
“Why are you so insecure?”
“Why would I be insecure about someone like you?”
She stopped abruptly, “what do you mean by that?”Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
“Uhh?” Pretending not to hear her.
“What do you mean by that Justin,” she asked again with her voice breaking.
Justin walked up to her trying to hold her “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it that way”
She knew she had a problem, she was a Nymphomaniac. She just couldn’t control her sexual urges and desire. She was known as the popular bad girl in college but still, Justin managed to know how to deal with her issues.
“Can you please leave me alone” she went right back into the bar Justin was trying to have them leave.
“Babe!” Justin screamed but it all fell on deaf eyes. He didn’t want to bother or force the issue. He got into his car and left for his place. Justin was everything a lady would want and the bad thing about that was that he knew it himself. Therefore leaving him with this pompous attitude, he had a perfectly built body, had rich parents, and was a popular musician in college. Everyone wanted him and he knew it.
“One more shot!” She instructed the waiter. She couldn’t believe he’d say something like that to her after what they had been through.
“Can I join you?”
A man with a black hat and dark shades, which made it hard for anyone to capture his facial looks. But his arms were perfect, at least she thought that.
” Please go away”
The stranger sat and Adjusted his body close to her, ” come on, you look like you’ll need the company”
“What do you want”
“Jus. Just to be your friend”
She chuckled and turned straight to look at him. She leaned forward, taking his hands and slowly rubbing them in between her thighs, beneath her skirt. She could see the shock in his eyes and she liked that. Seeing him struggle to keep his composure as she continuously drove his hands deeper inside her.
“You want that, huh” she murmured.
“Umm no, not really ”
The man withdrew his hands back, she laughed and continued drinking. The stranger still hung around trying to engage her with conversations that she found boring but he still wouldn’t leave after she dismissed him.
People were leaving the bar already and it was getting late, she couldn’t even see properly or walk well.
“I’ll drive you home if you don’t mind”
“And why will you do that?” She laughed, hitting him on his chest softly, ” you don’t even know me”
She was drunk, finding it hard to keep her balance but the stranger had to support her while walking out of the bar
“Where do you stay?”
That was all she could remember after waking up at the cemetery.
“Help” she screamed, not scared but she needed to leave here as soon as possible. The fact that she woke up at a cemetery worried her. She thought of her phone and quickly ran to where she woke up but couldn’t find it. While searching for her phone, she noticed that what she thought to be a grave when she woke up was an endless pit, she couldn’t see the end but just darkness through. She shouted but it just came back echoing.
“Well that’s not creepy”
She tried looking for a way out of the cemetery but couldn’t find one. How could a Cemetery not have a gate she wondered. So how did she get here?
All these questions with no answers, she decided to kill time by moving around from grave to grave reading the names of people who died and mocking those who didn’t live a long life.
“How could he die so early, I wondered if it was his crazy ex who did that to him” she laughed after coming across a 21-year-old’s grave.
Death wasn’t a stranger to her after all, she lost her father as a Kid. Her mother never gave her the attention she needed. She cried night, after night, needing someone to comfort her, mostly a father figure. She didn’t get that and that’s what led to her being involved in drugs and sex at an early age. All she wanted was to kill the pains she felt.
Before she turned 12, her mother died. She didn’t even shed a tear for her. Attended her funeral with a cigar and chewed gum while she was buried. People wondered why she was that way but she couldn’t care less.
“You are at your mum’s funeral” her mother’s younger sister came unto her ” spit that out now!”
She reluctantly spits it out while rolling her eyes.
“And you are coming with me after all this is over”
“I don’t want to”
“Who says you have a choice?”
She was taken in by her aunt, not something she wanted but she was hoping she would be free after her mum’s early passing. She thought right, she was still free. Her aunt comes home late and leaves for work before she wakes up. She had every freedom she ever wanted and growing up she never really stuck with one boy Except for Justin. He made her feel loved even with how she was.
She was getting tired of the time being slow and being stuck at a place she couldn’t find a way out of the cemetery with its high walls. She suddenly heard the sound of the gate fling wide open. She stood up and turned to see where it was coming from but nothing. She couldn’t see anything. All she saw was a Boy running into the cemetery,
“Who’s that?” She whispered to herself.
