Questions
Lynn Harris
“Why did you call me back?” Alec smirked.
I was seated on my bed, with my back against the wall while holding a pillow. Alec sat on the edge of the bed and looked expectantly at me.
“They say never think people like you because they’re nice to you,” I stated proudly. “Sometimes you’re just an option when they’re bored. Know what that means?”
“Oh please,” Alec chuckled. “If it was just boredom, you’d have opted for other things like read a book or something.”
“I wanted a human boredom reliever and since you’re the only one around, I had to take the chance.”
“Well, can I start relieving you now?” Even without looking at him, I could feel that he was already grinning. He got me there.
“You don’t have to do anything. Just talk to me.”
I regretted that as soon as I said it.
“Really? So does that mean the sound of my voice turns you on? Interesting. If my voice alone gets you all worked up, then…”
I couldn’t let him finish. “You know I didn’t mean it like that.”
“What did you mean?”
“Let’s talk about something else, Alec” I desperately needed a change of topic because I couldn’t find replies to him. He’d take everything I said the wrong way so what was the point in continuing, other than embarrassing myself.
“Let’s talk about how you want me to touch every bit of your body. Better?”
A real pervert. I was yearning for his touch but was never going to admit it. What he said just increased the need. I was having wild imaginations about what his hands could do to me. If I only had time to daydream enough! He was looking at my body and I wished I was his girl so I could just grab and have him pressed against me.
“Nuh, I don’t want your filthy hands on my body. How could you even think that?”
“You’ve got nice feet by the way” He said, looking at them. I got all self-conscious and folded my legs so he wouldn’t see underneath but only the upper part and my nails.
“Thanks but they’re not the best,” I smiled awkwardly.
“Well, I think they are.”
“Awww, you’re so sweet.” I couldn’t help feeling shy because of what he said.
“So, what are you planning to do tonight?” He asked touching my raised knee. I could feel the electricity even through my jeans. He removed his hand almost immediately.
“Nothing, you?”
“There’s a party somewhere and I’ll be going with my friends,” He replied moving closer towards me and ended up seated beside me making sure our bodies were touching. Then he made sure he sat in the same style as me. If I made a mistake of looking at that side, I would like right into his face so I looked in front.
“Cool” I said, uninterested.
“How come you’re no longer looking at me?”
“There’s nothing worth looking at on you,” I mentally hi fived myself for that one.
“I know how to make you look at me.”
“Don’t try anything with me, young man.” I warned trying to suppress a smile.
Defying my orders, he wrapped his right arm around my shoulders fully aware that this was extreme torture to me. It sent a shiver down my spine and the feelings inside me were too much and unbearable. I turned to yell at him to stop but as soon as I looked at his lovely eyes, the words vanished into thin air.
We looked at each other and we were very close to each other and I knew the next thing to happen was exactly what I wanted.
I was terribly wrong, as you’ll see.
We were almost there when loud bangs at the door interrupted us. We immediately sprang apart wondering who it could be until we heard them shouting.
“My friends,” Alec said jumping off the bed and leaving. Couldn’t those silly boys learn to choose better hours for their useless visits. The moment when you’re about to get what you want and someone interrupts is one of the most annoying on earth.
They were already in the sitting room chatting loudly and after a mental analysis, I could tell that there were about four new voices. Hope they weren’t having a stupid party like last time.
Being the good girl I was, I composed myself and went to great them. They all turned when I opened the door and I walked shyly towards them.
“Hi guys,” I managed, scanning the room for a free less noticeable seat. I didn’t want to sit in between them. They all replied.
“Hey, you can sit on my lap.” One of the boys, that I had not seen before invited after noticing my confusion. The others just laughed but Alec glared at him. What was wrong with him?
“I am Ethan,” Ethan had a very adorable cute smile, just like Niall Horan’s. I had never sat on a boy’s lap in public before so I thought it wasn’t a cool move. But my need to annoy Alec drove me to accept the offer. I didn’t want to make him jealous but was just trying to play around with his mind. He wouldn’t even be jealous of me because there were lots of girls who could have him.
“Lynn,” I said planting myself on his lap. The only problem was that he was quite small and I didn’t want to squish his thighs.
“How are you baby?” He asked as the other three continued with their conversation.
“Good, you’re cute.” I flirted, touching his beautiful face. I wondered how I’d suddenly become so confident. “Has someone ever told you that you look Niall Horan?”
“Who is-” He was cut off.
“At what time are we leaving, guys?” Alec asked extra loudly.
“A few minutes from now,” One of the boys said, eyeing me. “Are you joining us? There’s a party.”
“Of course she is, right Lynn?” Ethan said touching my leg. I must have looked like a slut during that moment.
“She is not going,” Alec said.
“Why not?” I asked.
“You ain’t part of us.”
“But Ethan just invited me.”NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
“I’ll go with her if you don’t want,” Niall’s lookalike said with a smile.
“Whatever,” Alec retorted.
My roommate was not happy.
