She knocked on the door but there was no response.

“Can I come in?” she finally poked her head into the office not raising his head he waved his hand signaling she should go away.

She didn’t, she just couldn’t go.

“Jaxton please can we talk? I know you are busy but can we have just a few minutes of your time?” she said to him but he didn’t respond to her.

“I figure you are doing what we call the ‘silent treatment’ but Jax please don’t ignore me I beg of you” she pleaded.

“Like you said yourself, I am busy and I wish to concentrate on what is before me, and by the way, don’t you have a sexual tension environment to be with aka my brother’s office?” he asked her not minding how those words made her feel.

“I beg of you Jaxton stop talking this way,” Sydney replied to what he had said because she just knew he was speaking from the mind of an angry man and her words towards him yesterday was so painful.

“Jaxton I am sorry, it would never happen again and as a matter of fact we started having our meetings with Gabe present so that yu would not have to suspect us even more” Sydney explained.

No response.

“You are the only man I love I beg of you please don’t do this Jaxton stop giving me the cold shoulders I miss you”.

When she realized that she was not being given the time of the day she felt extremely bad.

He felt that because of her, he had become a shadow of himself and he had also become an enemy with his brother.

Jaxton needed the space and time for himself to rest because he just couldn’t handle a lot of things that had been going on this past few days.

Sydney left the office feeling all drained and not knowing exactly what she could do next so as to get Jaxton forgive her for what had happened.

She understood what his plight was, any man who found his woman with another man in the position where she was standing would have behaved that way or even more than that so she just had to continue trying.

Sydney continued work although it wasn’t as fun of a day as she had expected but she had to try her best.

Both brothers where kind of avoiding her and she knew that she would have to thread patiently and calmly so that whatever it was that was going on should be done in a calm and proper manner.

Since she had been embarrassed many times from her lunch to the incident at the office. She was tired.

“Hello Sydney, you would have to go attend some meetings for me as I am already swamped with work at the moment” Paxton said to Sydney as she was standing before him and not wanting to look into his eyes.

“Okay sir” she said and continued and went to attend the meetings.

Sydney finally got off work and when she left the office she was sad and down because Jaxton even left without telling her as she had gone to check his office and was told by his secretary that he had gone home already.

As she entered the car she noticed her phone was ringing so she picked it.

“Hello, girl how are you doing today?” one of her friends chimed into the phone.

“Hey girl, I am doing great just tired with some migraine, but you know how work gets right?” she said as she tried arranging her things and then took the car on a reverse in the garage.

“So what are you doing? It is a weekend won’t you come for us to have a great time together?” she heard her friend ask.

“Oh well I am not feeling too good so I wouldn’t want to go out why don’t you girls go on without me besides I wouldn’t like to be a party pauper” she explained.

“Wait girl, what is your problem, is it a guy problem because no man should make us ladies feel less of ourselves?” her friend continued but Sydney was not ready for that so she was quick to tell her she was about to drive home.

“Okay girl anytime” and the phone went off.

When Sydney got home she was extremely tired and she took out her heels and then went to her couch.

She slowly went into her room and put her bag on the chair and then she sat on her bed and took out her phone.

“Yet again no text or call from him, oh God what do I do?” she asked as she sat there thinking for a while.

She wrote a message to him and he viewed it but he didn’t respond to it as he was just still mad at her.

Then suddenly an idea came to mind as she sat there thinking maybe she was going to make sure she make his weekend a blissful one as she remembered what it was he loved doing on weekends.

“Now he is not going to ignore me anymore I know what it is I am going to do for him and I would have to see if he would refuse me this time around” she said while standing in front of her mirror and then she took off her clothes.

A cool bath would do, something to make her relax and feel warm and inviting, if Jaxton was there she imagined her weekend to be a lovely one.

As for Paxton she was sure that he was not in the mood for anything to happen to his relationship with his brother reason why he had avoided her.
