Chapter 7 Sleeping on the Sofa

Chapter 7 Sleeping on the Sofa

When Louis came out of the bathroom in a bathrobe with wet hair, Blanche had fallen asleep.

Only then did he realize he had no place to sleep if she slept in his bed? After all, he could never share the bed with the ugly woman.

When he held back his anger and walked to the side, he found her sleeping appearance was sweet. She was wearing a mask, but her exposed skin was impeccable. Her beautiful eyes were closed, her long eyelashes looked like butterfly wings, and her forehead was smooth.

Seeing her sleeping so soundly, he paused before stretching out his hand to pull her up. She was sleeping like a gentlewoman.

He suddenly recalled how she had looked like when she had intended to take off her mask in the living room and suspected whether the face under the mask was as ugly as her vicious heart. After all, the revealed part of her face made her look like a beauty.

Louis subconsciously reached for her mask. The closer his hand got, the more it trembled. And he didn't know when he had become so indecisive.

When he finally touched the mask and was about to tear it off, the sleeping person suddenly opened her eyes in confusion. Seeing his handsome face, she asked, "What are you doing?"

Louis immediately withdrew his hand, feeling guilty for the first time. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

"I wanted to wake you up and ask you to sleep on the sofa."

Hearing this, Blanche looked at the sofa. Although it was big, it was not as comfortable as the bed. She knew that he would not sleep in the same bed as her and that one of them would sleep on the

sofa tonight. Therefore, she had gone to bed early to occupy the bed. But she had not expected him to wake her up.

The quilt was warm. Blanche rested her head on the soft pillow and tightly held the quilt with both hands, saying, "No. I'm sleepy. You go to sleep on the sofa."

Louis narrowed his eyes when a strange emotion flashed across his heart. Blanche was acting like a child who refused to get up in the morning and threw a temper tantrum with him.

But he instantly regained his indifference, coldly stared at her with black eyes, and said, "Do you know who you are talking to? Believe it or not, I will throw you out and let you sleep at the door."

Blanche bit her lower lip, let go of the quilt, and slowly sat up. After all, she couldn't confront him head-on.

As soon as she walked to the sofa with the quilt, the room plunged into darkness with a snap. She stamped her foot in anger because she had not made the bed yet.

Louis on the big bed turned over with a frown. She had only slept for a while, but the bed was full of the ugly woman's smell.

The next morning, Blanche got up early and washed up. Going downstairs, she saw Cathy sitting upright on the sofa with Tammy. And a servant was serving them fruit and dessert.

When Cathy glanced up, she met her gaze and coldly frowned, wondering whether Louis had slept with the ugly woman last night.

After returning home yesterday, Cathy had not slept all night. So, she rushed over to inquire about the situation at dawn. No! She immediately shook her head. It was impossible! Louis was so noble, so he would never sleep with such an ugly woman.

Blanche had dealt her a head-on blow last night, so she would seek revenge today! She believed Blanche did not know Tammy liked her very much and regarded her as half of her biological child.

When Blanche came downstairs, Cathy waved to her with a smile and said, "Miss Kent, good morning. Come and sit."

Miss Kent? This appellation was interesting.

Blanche stopped walking toward the garden and looked sideways at Cathy who had put on a fake smile.

"Okay, I'll chat with you, Miss Bird."

Blanche turned around and walked toward the living room. But there was no seat left outside. So, she could only walk past Cathy to sit on the sofa inside.

Cathy kindly said, "Miss Kent, be careful."

Blanche didn't doubt it, so she replied, "I will. Thanks."

Suddenly, she tripped and staggered. When her knee hit the corner of the coffee table, she felt a sharp pain.

Cathy stood up, pretended to support her, and said, "I told you to be careful. The ground is flat, but you still almost fell. Does it hurt?"

She was blaming her victim. Blanche gasped in pain, avoided her hand, silently endured the pain, and sat on the sofa.
