Billionaire Assassin

Chapter 28

I Am Sorry (A):

Jess was surprised, shocked, speechless and her facial reactions didn’t fail to show all of that.

Annabel just sent a smile towards her direction before looking behind Jess.

“Annabel?”

“The one and only sweet sister of yours. I thought you would have opened your door wide by now for me to come into your home,” Annabel said, pushing Jess out of her way gently and coming inside.

“Jess who is that?” King Eremus asked and that seemed to bring back Jess from her shock state. She quickly closed her door and went to meet her sister who stopped when she heard the voice of her ex husband. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

“Eremus is here?” Annabel asked as she turned around to glare at her sister.

Rolling her eyes. “It’s not what you think. Follow me and see for yourself before you accuse me of something I can’t even do,” Jess said leading the way, Annabel following her and they came to the living room.

King Eremus saw who was behind Jess and his mouth opened in shock.

“Annabel?” He asked, still shocked, not believing his eyes.

“Yes it’s me, are you surprised that I caught you here with my sister?” Annabel said.

King Eremus laughed at that. “You must be kidding me Annabel. You got that all wrong. I and your sister are not a thing. My two daughters are now living here with her so I went to check on them.” He explained.

As if on cue, the doors to Elena and Eva rooms opened and they stepped out at the same time, dressed in a different set of clothes.

“Dad why the sudden quiet-” Elena stopped short when she saw the bright purple hair which belongs to a taller slender beautiful middle age woman. Her eyes were bright purple like hers.

No one needed to tell her who the woman was.

“Mum.” She whispered.

Demon House:

Dressed in all blacks like a dark Prince, Demon disappeared.

Underworld:

He appeared in what looks like a throne room and a man who is a replica of him except he didn’t have silver hair or eyes sat on a throne.

He bowed down before him and straightened his body. He saw Camilla standing next to his father and rolled his eyes.

“Father, you sent for me.”

“Yes I did, son. Your wife came to me with a report of how you have broken the soulmate bound you had with her without any reason. Why is that son?” His father asked.

“Father, she didn’t tell you the whole truth. I caught her in bed with Hades, she and Hades have been having a secret affair behind my back for years. She faked her death and made me kill Innocent humans. So I had to end our relationship. I am no longer with her.”

“But you should know that mistakes often happen between couples, forgive her and when she tries it once again then you can finally let her go.”

“That is impossible, father. I have my own right. And apart from that, I have another mate. I am just grateful that I am not fully a demon, if not I wouldn’t have gotten my second chance mate. I thank my mother for making me a part of her,” Demon said. “I have to go back, father, there can never be Camilla and me again. We are done for good,” he said and disappeared immediately.

Jess House:

Annabel stared at her daughter from her head to toe, toe to head and smiled at her, ignoring everyone else. She has to go along with her plans.

“My baby girl, look at you,” Annabel said in fake enthusiasm. “You are all grown-up.” She added and went to meet Elena, pulling her into a surprising hug.

Pushing off Annabel away from her. “What are you doing here? What do you want from us? You left me and now you are back, why?”

“Darling, I didn’t leave you, your father didn’t want me to take you along. So I had to go,” Annabel said holding Elena’s cheeks tenderly, but Elena removed her hands from her cheeks. “Your father was a flirt, he chased anything in skirts. I tried changing him Elena, I tried but he wouldn’t change even after he promised me. I caught him with your step mother who pinned him down with her pregnancy. I couldn’t bear it anymore so I had to go, I had to leave him and go far away in another place and start afresh. But I missed you so much that is why I came here first to see my sister and asked her to follow me to Eras Kingdom to beg your father for me to see you and explain things to you,” Annabel said the lies so smoothly that Elena almost believed her.

“That’s not true Elena. Everything she said here are lies. She left when I realised her true motives.” King Eremus rebuked the claims. “If it was true, why are you two years and some months older than Eva and not the same age? I married my second wife to take care of you as you were still an infant when Annabel ran away after her failure to get you. I fell in love and got married to my second wife.” He added.

“You cannot deceive me, I am not a child Annabel.” Elena said.

“Okay, I see you’ve taken sides. Anyways, I am back now and I am not going anywhere,” Annabel said and turned her gaze at Eva. “I need to have a private discussion with them, so please excuse us, even though Eremus is your father, you are not my daughter, so excuse us.” She added.

“My daughter is going nowhere, whatever discussion you want to have with us can be said right here in front of her,” king Eremus said angrily.

“And most importantly, Eva is my family, do not ever in your life refer to her as that again Annabel,” Elena said in warning.

“Is alright, I will excuse myself and go to my room,” Eva said and went back to her room.

“Me too, I just remembered I have some homework to do, sorry dad, sorry aunt, Elena is out and you cannot force me to stay,” Elena said and left before her father or anyone will say a thing.

Eremus focused his attention to his ex wife, sitting down and Jess sat down too. “Tell us the reason why you are really here Annabel.”

Going to sit on one of the free sofas in the living room, Annabel crossed one of her legs to the other. “Well the reason why I am back is very simple.” She began and went straight to the point. “I am here for my daughter to take her back with me, if you don’t release my daughter, then death awaits you.”
