Chapter 1054 The Shoot
"Miss Little Bunny," Tanya, her assistant called out to her.
How she wished she was in dreamland!
She turned around and followed Tanya to the filming location.
Just as Theodore finished vomiting, he saw Little Bunny too. As he was about to call out her name, she
turned and walked away.
"Women always like to act high and mighty." Theodore held back his words.
Since his stomach felt uncomfortable, he asked the driver, "Where am I staying?"
"Right there, sir. I'll take you there." The driver quickly replied.
Theodore followed him to a homestay, whose environment wasn't very good. Theodore found it
somewhat distasteful but didn't want to be picky since he had already come all this way. The homestay
owner quickly led him into a room, which was clean but still quite simple in design. Theodore couldn't
complain anymore; he collapsed onto the bed, exhausted. He had done so far for Little Bunny, even
suffering car sick.
This woman was so lucky, he thought to himself.
With all these in mind, Theodore eventually fell asleep soundly while enduring his discomfort.
When he woke up from his nap later on, it was already quite late in the day with sunset approaching
fast outside of his window view. Theodore sat up abruptly upon realizing how late it had gotten.
"Samson!"
He rushed over immediately upon hearing that before putting his pants on.
"What's wrong? What happened?"
So Samson had been sleeping off some stomach discomforts too.
"What time is it? Why are you still sleeping?"
Samson was a bit wronged since he had slept after Theodore fell asleep.
"5 PM." Samson checked his watch and said.
"5 PM?! Go to ask someone if she gets off work."
"Alright."
Then Samson went back to his room to put on his clothes and headed for the spot, while Theodore
washed and brushed himself up unhurriedly. He complained about the awful living conditions here from
time to time.
Later, Samson came back and said, "Captain..."
"Call me Mr Wold outside. Stay down."
"Yes." Replied Samson. But he didn't think Theodore would keep a low profile. And he continued, "Mr
Wold, I just went to the set and Miss Little Bunny is still filming. She has a lot of scenes and it might
take a while longer. I asked around and they said it'll be at least another hour."
"Are they not tired?" Theodore muttered.
"... Well, everyone has their job." Samson thought.
Theodore thought for a moment before saying, "Let's go check it out."
"Okay."
So they got to the filming location on set. Since Samson had already made arrangements beforehand,
they weren't stopped by anyone. Everyone who saw Theodore showed some fear and respect towards
him. Theodore was used to these looks and walked confidently in front of the camera crew. When the
cameraman saw him, he was surprised but quickly greeted him.
"You do your thing. I'll just take a look around." Theodore said nonchalantly before turning his attention
elsewhere.
And so he watched as they filmed without any interruptions or distractions from others on set.
"Stop!" The director's voice suddenly rang out. "Little Bunny, you're not in character right now!"
If it weren't for Theodore showing up, she wouldn't have lost focus. She took a deep breath before
apologizing to the director, "I'm sorry."
"Get ready for this scene. After this one, we still have one more scene where you fall into the water."
Urged the director. "The sun is setting soon, so time is tight."
"Got it," Little Bunny took another deep breath as she prepared herself mentally for what was coming
next. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
At that moment she glanced over at Theodore, who had been sitting offstage watching her intently all
along. It made her shiver with agitation.
Theodore noticed her glance. So he gave her an attractive smile and then threw her an alluring glance,
which left Little Bunny speechless. She quickly diverted her gaze away from him.
Meanwhile, Theodore smirked playfully, enjoying every minute of watching Little Bunny act up close
like this. At least, he thought so.
Suddenly there came another call, "Three, two, one, action!"
Little Bunny quickly got in character. This was the first time for Theodore to watch a film shoot. He had
dated quite a lot of actresses, but no one could make him do this far. He was quite interested in
watching them acting at such a close distance. And he thought Little Bunny's acting skills were not bad;
when she was in character, she was someone completely different from herself.
No wonder she was able to pretend to be indifferent to him.
"Cut! Get ready for the next scene."
Little Bunny returned stage area preparing herself again, while other members of staff began setting up
props.
"Is Mr Wold here to see you?" Tanya handed Little Bunny a cup of warm water and asked cautiously.
Little Bunny pursed her lips and didn't answer.
"I noticed that his gaze has been fixed on you. I heard that he likes female celebrities, but he's also
quite fickle. None of his girlfriends has lasted more than a month, some even just one-night stands..."
"I know," Little Bunny interrupted her.
She knew that Tanya was trying to warn her not to fall for Theodore's tricks. Of course, she wasn't
annoyed with what Tanya said; she just knew exactly what kind of person Theodore was and wouldn't
be fooled by him.
She took a moment to compose herself in the lounge before the crew asked her to prepare for filming
again.
Little Bunny put down her thermos and walked towards the filming location, where Theodore was still
present. The director was chatting with him at the moment, obviously complimenting him on something.
When Little Bunny came out, the director respectfully left them alone as they moved to another location
near a pool. She would film a scene where she fell into the water and was rescued by the main man. In
this scene, the main man would give artificial respiration after rescuing her from drowning.
In previous movies when there were intimate scenes involved, Little Bunny refused them because of
being married. But now since getting divorced, she did not want any negative news about herself so
easily attached like "unprofessional" or "difficult", so she agreed. But with Theodore there, she felt quite
embarrassed to film those intimate scenes.
She acted opposite Addison, who had worked with her before. They had been quite familiar with each
other. They had great success together in their last movie "The Ballad", which had higher ratings than
any TV series produced over recent years, so it wasn't surprising when they announced its sequel soon
after finishing it.
Today's shooting involved the first meeting between the male and female lead characters.
"Theodore is here," Addison said to Little Bunny while they were practising the lines.
"He seems to want something from you." He added cautiously.
Little Bunny nodded knowingly,
"Be careful."
"I know."
She told herself, Theodore was just acting on impulse anyway.
