I picked up my phone and called Damon, he is my subordinate turn pal and he is my hidden eye

“hello, Alexio” he replied from his own end.

“Have you been able to contact him to tell him I’m back and are you ready for today?” I said. “We must start the acquisition plan today.”

“Yes, all done. We’re ready”

“Okay then, I have a something for you,” I said over the phone.

“Anything” he said.

“Good. There is this lady that dared to treat me unfair” I replied

“what do you want me to do to her?” he asked me

“Nothing. Don’t harm her, just find her and get back to me” I said to him

“forward her information to me” he said

“That is the problem,” I replied.

“I do not have her information. She is just one random girl I picked up to spend the night with but I will forward the name of the hotel we lodged so that you can see if you can find anything important from the CCTV camera.” I replied.

“OK, boss. I will work on it immediately” he said

“ok” I said, hanging up the phone to focus on other important things.

I could not wait for this lady to beg me for forgiveness for acting in such a foolish manner.

I prepared and moved out of the hotel room not without forwarding the most important details to my secret detective. Soon, this mystery lady will pay dearly for this.

Emily POV

I got back home feeling really drained and tired. I moved into my room after noticing that Alex, my estranged husband, was not around.

I went to the bathroom and had a cool shower.

While the cool water flowed down my naked body, I remembered the stranger who I lay with a few hours ago. I don’t even know how he looks nor who he is. Well, we probably won’t see each other anymore and I can’t even be bothered.

This is the first time I broke my marital vow of staying faithful to my husband without cheating on him or having an affair with any other person.

Sadly, he pushed me to do this and I have no regret whatsoever. If I have the opportunity, I will do it over again.

I was about to go to sleep when I heard the sound of the gate opening and a car entering the compound. This can only mean one thing. My estranged husband is back. This time, only God knows his agenda.

Soon he entered the house and screamed out my name.

“you are a bastard and a fucking cheat who do not know how to control that stick in between your legs” I said to him

“Say no more stupid words and I will make you ever regret knowing me,” he threatened.

“What else can be worse than the life that you have caged me with. I am now a slave with a ring of bondage” I said to him, showing him my finger on which I wore my engagement ring.

“You do not want to dare me,” he said with a look of threat.

“what the hell will you do if I dare you?” I asked, raising my voice.

“I had a stressful day, I am in no mood for all this” he said to me, obviously tired of hearing anything further.

“that is your problem so face it” I said to him

He sighed and sat down without saying a word. After thirty minutes he spoke up.

“I need you to do something for me” he said silently although with a voice of command.

“Tell that to your slut!” I barked.

“I am not in the mood for all this stupid talk. Answer me and do not waste my time” he said

“as what? As my husband or my master?” I asked him in sarcasm

“that is not important because it is about your father’s company” he said

“What is wrong with my father’s company?” I asked him.

” I need $1million dollars from you because we need to process some documents to help minimize the effect of the loan,” he said calmly.

“you need what!” I asked him, truly shocked.

“you heard me. It is important and if nothing is done, it will only take a couple of weeks for the company to be totally out of your control and that of your family” he said to me.

“You gave us a million dollars, and got married to me and even got 45% shares. We are barely left with $10, 000 debt. How did we get into a debt of $1, 000, 000 again?” I said

“I do not have that amount nor can we afford it in my family. All I have now is 55% share and $10, 000 debt” I said to him,

“If you do not have the money, you should prepare for a life without all of this luxury and comfort you are enjoying” he said to me obviously trying to play an emotional game on me and sadly he seems to be succeeding.

“what exactly do you hope to achieve with all these?” I asked

“nothing, I am just trying to see if I can help save your fallen company, you should understand this, We need to pay $1, 000, 000 debt. So sell 30% of your shares to the creditors, so that you pay all and be left with 25% shares. No debt and you are fine.” He said to me with a smirk

“I curse the day you came into my life” I said to him feeling bitter and betrayed
