Chapter 666
Paul thought for a moment. “The gray one.”
Miranda’s eyes lit up–it was the same one she preferred!
Paul signaled to the sales assistant. “I’ll take this set. Please charge it to my card.”
As he changed back into his own clothes, Miranda pointed to his collar. “Here, it’s not folded down.”
He tried to adjust it but couldn’t get it right. Miranda simply stepped forward to help him. He was quite tall, so she had to stand on tiptoe. They were so close that they could feel each other’s breath.
The unique fragrance coming from Miranda drifted into his nostrils. Paul’s heart skipped a beat, and his. Adam’s apple bobbed.
He could clearly feel her slender fingers at his collar, gently folding the fabric. Her warm fingertips. inadvertently brushed against the skin of his neck, sending tiny electric currents that made his very soul tremble.
Susan had arranged to meet someone for dinner that day. Since it was still early, she decided to stroll around the mall.
After buying things for herself and having the driver take them to the car, she returned to the fifth floor empty–handed, planning to shop for Felix and her three sons.
She had no choice–one was her husband, and the other three were still bachelors. After visiting several stores without finding anything suitable, she began to lose interest and wandered aimlessly.
Suddenly, a suit in a store window caught her eye. Just as she stopped to take a closer look, she inadvertently saw a man and a woman inside the store through the glass.
Wasn’t that her youngest son, Paul? And more importantly, he was with a woman! Susan’s in shock, and she stood rooted to the spot. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

Susan thought this was already shocking enough, but what happened next surprised her even more. She saw the woman slowly turn and withdraw her hand from the man’s collar. A beautiful and familiar face unexpectedly appeared before Susan’s eyes.
It was her! The woman from the tea appreciation class who was always close to Natalie!
Susan instinctively leaned closer to make sure she hadn’t mistaken her, pressing her nose so close to the glass that it smacked painfully, making her gasp.
Finally, she had to accept the truth. The woman with Paul was indeed Miranda, the one from the tea class. It was the same Miranda who had worn a dress, put on airs, and didn’t hold back from openly criticizing her!
How could there be such a coincidence in the world?

She had checked. On the first day, there was only one set of tableware in the kitchen, but on the next day, there were two.
Susan was now both shocked and suspicious.
Had her son already started dating this woman? How for had things progressed? Was she approaching him with ulterior motives?
Various doubts filled her mind, and a bad premonition that things were getting out of control overwhelmed her. Susan quietly hid to the side, continuing to observe them secretly
“All set, Dr. Jefferson.” Miranda withdrew her hand and stepped back to put some distance between them.
“Thank you,” Paul said.
The sales assistant handed over the packaged suit and his bank card with both hands. “Here’s your suit and your card.”
Paul took them, and the two left together.
“Thank you for shopping with us. Please visit again!”
Susan then noticed they were about to leave the store. Afraid of being discovered, she quickly turned and hid in the emergency stairwell.
However, when she peeked out again, she found that she couldn’t see them anymore. She stomped her foot in frustration, but the impact from her high heels caused her ankle to ache.
Even her shoes were against her now!
The reason Susan didn’t find Paul and Miranda was that after they left the suit store, they entered the shoe store next door. Sam was sitting on a couch with his long legs crossed, casually playing with his phone while waiting.
